Creating your first note in Keepoint is simple and intuitive:

1. Tap the floating + button at the bottom right of your home screen
2. Start typing your note or tap the microphone icon to record voice
3. Your note saves automatically as you type
4. Use the formatting toolbar to add bold, italic, or underlined text

Recording voice notes is at the heart of Keepoint:

1. Open any note or create a new one
2. Tap the microphone button at the bottom of the screen
3. Start speaking - you'll see visual feedback as you record
4. Tap the stop button when finished
5. Your speech will be transcribed automatically

Keepoint supports 50+ languages for transcription, including:

• English, Spanish, French, German, Italian
• Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese), Japanese, Korean

To change your transcription language:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Language & Region
3. Select Transcription Language
4. Choose your preferred language

Yes! Keepoint can transcribe existing audio and video files:

Supported formats:

• Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A
• Video: MP4, MOV

How to import:

1. Open or create a note
2. Tap the menu (three dots)
3. Select Import Audio or Import Video
4. Choose your file
5. Wait for transcription to complete

Yes! All transcription in Keepoint happens completely offline on your device.

iPhones running iOS 14 or later can use the "Back Tap" feature:

Step 1: Create the Shortcut

1. Open the Shortcuts app
2. Tap the + icon to create a new shortcut
3. Tap Add Action
4. Search for Open App and select it
5. Choose Keepoint from the app list
6. Name your shortcut (e.g., "Open Keepoint")
7. Tap Done

Step 2: Assign to Back Tap

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch
2. Select Back Tap
3. Choose Double Tap or Triple Tap
4. Select your Keepoint shortcut from the list

Now double or triple tap the back of your iPhone to launch Keepoint instantly!

Android gesture setup varies by manufacturer:

Google Pixel - Quick Tap:

1. Go to Settings > System > Gestures
2. Select Quick Tap
3. Enable Use Quick Tap
4. Choose Open app and select Keepoint

Samsung Galaxy - One Hand Operation+:

1. Install One Hand Operation+ from Galaxy Store
2. Open the app and enable a handle
3. Select a gesture (e.g., swipe right)
4. Choose Open app and select Keepoint

Xiaomi/MIUI - Back Tap:

1. Go to Settings > Additional settings
2. Tap Gesture shortcuts > Back tap
3. Choose double or triple tap
4. Select Open app and choose Keepoint

Keepoint offers several ways to organize your notes:

• Star Important Notes: Tap the star icon to mark important notes
• Filter Tabs: Use the tabs at the top to filter by All, Starred, Voice, or Recent
• Search: Use the search bar to find notes by content
• Automatic Dating: Notes are automatically organized by creation date

Keepoint provides rich text formatting options:

• Bold: Select text and tap B
• Italic: Select text and tap I
• Underline: Select text and tap U
• Headers: Use the format menu to apply Title, Heading, or Subheading styles
• Alignment: Align text left, center, or right

Access formatting options by selecting text or using the toolbar at the bottom of the note editor.

Keepoint offers several beautiful font options:

2. Under Appearance, find Font Style
3. Choose from:
   • System Default
   • Poppins (clean, modern)
   • Virgil (handwritten)
   • Indie Flower (playful)

4. The font changes throughout the app immediately

Keepoint supports light, dark, and system themes:

1. Go to Settings
2. Under Appearance, find Theme
3. Choose:
   • Light: Bright, paper-like appearance
   • Dark: Easy on the eyes in low light
   • System: Follows your device settings

Export your notes as beautifully formatted PDFs:

1. Open the note you want to export
2. Tap the menu icon (three dots)
3. Select Export as PDF
4. Choose where to save or share the PDF

The PDF will preserve your formatting, including bold, italic, and headers.

Share your notes in multiple ways:

• Share as Text: Tap share icon to send note content to any app
• Export as PDF: Create a formatted document to share
• Export as Text File: Save as .txt for compatibility
• Share Audio: Share the original recording (if available)

Access sharing options from the note's menu (three dots).

If the app crashes during recording, try these solutions:

1. Check permissions: Ensure microphone permission is granted in Settings
2. Free up storage: Recording needs space for temporary files
3. Restart the app: Close completely and reopen
4. Update the app: Check for updates in your app store

To improve transcription accuracy:

• Check language settings: Ensure correct transcription language is selected
• Speak clearly: Maintain consistent pace and volume
• Reduce background noise: Record in quiet environments
• Position device properly: Keep device 6-12 inches from your mouth
• Check microphone: Clean microphone port if needed

If you're running out of storage:

• Export old notes: Save important notes as PDFs then delete originals
• Delete recordings: Keep transcriptions but remove audio files
• Clear cache: Go to device Settings > Apps > Keepoint > Clear Cache
• Check downloads: Remove old language models if you've switched languages
